I am Ann-Marie Harvey the Owner of Designs By Light In The Shadows , i have always been around horses from a young age and took my passion to studying them and walked a way with a foundation degree in equine management. Love for carriage driving was about to grow when I became a top private driving show groom. After many years i loved all aspects of carriage driving/ grooming even for commercial funerals. Within lock-down i helped out a good friend and his sewing business mending horse rugs not knowing how to sew. I saw there was not much choice for carriage drivers or the funeral industry so this is where I started to look into making items which are all bespoke and what was missing off the open market. This is where my business started and today i make items not just for the carriage driving world but all aspects of horses and the funeral industry. All work is undertaken i do not limit myself i just have an area where i specialise in, i love making and even designing new items.
